The Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an Engineer 3 - Carpenter who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Engineer 3 - Carpenter will report to the Director of Engineering. Maintenance positions are responsible to provide service and repairs to hotel equipment and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork. Flexibility to work early mornings, mid-shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and maintenance tasks in support of quality standards to ensure an inviting and well-maintained facility.

• Respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction

• Assists General Maintenance 1 & 2 in special projects and various tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Hotel room renovation experience preferred

• Professional structural or relative carpentry experience preferred

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.

• Capable of working mid-shifts to evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Practical experience and the relevant certifications within a specific role, for example, HVAC (EPA), Certified Pool Operator.

• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance and the ability to properly use maintenance equipment and tools.

• Knowledge and ability to operate computer equipment.

• Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
