Position: Oracle Transportation Management Architect

Job Description:

As an Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Architect working at Forward Air, you will be responsible for quickly adapting to situations and supporting our business users.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Create "to-be" business process designs that meet business requirements and provide for dynamic management of freight
• Perform Oracle Transportation Management, OTM configuration according to business requests
• Perform solution design, including directing other team members and identification of mitigation strategies for project related issues
• Work independently to define scope and implement smaller solutions for business units
• Perform business process and functional audits and provide suggestions to improve the use of Oracle Transportation Management, OTM.
• Document test scripts and test the OTM application
• Perform training end users
• Assist with analysis and tool development to improve transportation planning at the operational and tactical level
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems or relevant job experience
• 5-7 years of Logistics experience
• 3-5 years of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) experience
• 3-5 years of Oracle PLSQL experience
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn on the fly
• Willing to travel up to 25%
