The Lockheed Martin FBM Program is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Engineer to join our embedded systems engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This role will require strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and test, to ensure that projects are properly planned and executed.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, including technical, schedule, and budget risks.
Develop and maintain project status reports, including progress, issues, and risks.
Collaborate with program management to develop and maintain program-level plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Collaborate with other integrated product teams to ensure that projects are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

Successful candidate will typically have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related professional work experience. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college
Project engineering experience
Active Secret Clearance required prior to start
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Open Plan
Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking
Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment)
Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management experience
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with projects.
Excellent presentation abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Certification in project management, such as PMI/PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).
