Shipping and Receiving Lift Truck Operator

Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Lift Truck Operator (Hospitality)

Full Time Day Shift 7am 3PM

Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Lift Truck Operator , will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of our products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down and stand up forklifts, pole, pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment

Your skills we value:

Lead all components of safety, health, and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries.

Communicate with carriers effectively in relation to shipment updates and handle bill of ladings.

Process and receive deliveries, registering them, staging and distributing packages within the company.

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a close team environment, not only with his/her department but also with any other department.

Assists with inventory management and the use of scan guns

Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.

Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment

Comply with OSHA standards

Move product to storage areas with proper equipment

Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner

Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area

This position will require flexible working hours, including overtime, and help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.

Drive and perform lift truck safety inspection checklist daily.

Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1 year experience preferred in any type of lift truck operation .

Prior experience with AS400 is a plus
