Maintenance Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a contract-to-hire position lasting six months. This role involves working in an industrial setting on a rotating 12-hour Dupont shift from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Responsibilities Perform electrical troubleshooting on electric arc furnaces, bucket elevators, pneumatic systems, and augers. Handle motor controls, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and DC controlled systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct minimal PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley Micrologic systems. Execute preventive maintenance and installation tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Experience with motor controls, including VFDs and DC systems. Understanding of industrial electrical maintenance and wiring. Basic knowledge of PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley PLCs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Possession of an electrical journeyman's license is preferred. Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting capabilities. Experience in an industrial maintenance technician role. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.92 - $27.92/hr.
