Senior Electrical Engineer- Boise, ID
Location: Boise, ID | Type: Hybrid (2 days onsite/week; 50% onsite during month one)
Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to act as the Owner's Representative for a client's high-tech manufacturing facilities in Boise, ID. You'll lead design reviews, ensure code compliance, and oversee electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and controls.
Responsibilities:
Represent the client during electrical design and construction phases
Review drawings, specs, and design packages for compliance
Provide feedback on electrical and I&C deliverables
Oversee vendor submittals and site implementation
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and construction personnel
Support field inspections and punch list walkthroughs
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
10+ years in building electrical systems design
PE license (or ability to obtain in Idaho)
Proficient with NEC, IEEE, SKM/EasyPower
Knowledge of PLC/DCS and low-voltage systems
Strong communication, organization, and field coordination skills
Preferred:
Semiconductor industry experience
Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, UL508A, I&C design
Network and control panel design experience
Other Requirements:
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Must pass background and drug screening
Able to walk construction sites, lift up to 25 lbs., and work in varied environments
