To perform various general labor tasks in a manufacturing / warehouse environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Safely operate basic material processing equipment such as saw, shear, and radial arm drill- Prepare materials for Fabrication per specifications utilizing appropriate shop grinder or other tools- Assist/support senior personnel with Fabrication as needed.- Clean, Prep and Operate a paint sprayer to Coat finished components per specification or instruction. Must be capable of wearing a respirator for painting purposes and passing any physical respiratory tests required for such work- Build wood pallets as needed and Package, Crate and/or palletize finish products for shipping- Be able to evaluate and comply with the customer Quality requirements as defined in the job order.- Evaluate own work quality.- Record product identification on required paperwork for control and traceability.- Perform tolerance acceptance measurement duties as required.- Record work completion and signoffs as required.- Assist in proof (load) test operation and recording of test results on proper form.- Report failures to management for evaluation and documentation.- Demonstrate ability to participate in improvement processes and work in a team environment.- Question, challenge, and bring to management's attention any situation or condition that compromises the quality and/or safety of fellow associates, the end user, or the property of either.- Follow safety procedures and comply with responsible behavior.- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, attendance and punctuality.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:- Must possess basic math skills, be able to read and utilize a tape measure and the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.- Must be self-motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills.Level of Education and Experience:- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency; prefer six months experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.- A minimum of six-months of warehouse experience or working in an ISO environment is preferred.Physical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
