BEP Lyman LLC dba Carpentry Contractors Company (ABC Panels), headquartered at 100 Zephyr Avenue, Montrose, MN 55363, phone number: ..., is looking to fill fifteen (15) Carpenter Helper positions from 10/01/2025 to 12/31/2025. This is for full-time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: Workers will help carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill, including carrying tools and wood, making simple wood cuts, nailing simple lumber pieces, positioning wood forms, and cleaning up the job site. Special requirements include: Three (3) Months of experience in carpentry. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yds. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must be able to handle extreme temperatures. The pay rate range starts from $19.65 up to $22.65 per hour, with overtime available at $29.48 up to $33.98 per hour, based on the hourly rate. Returning workers may receive higher wages based on skill and experience. 40 hours per week with varying shifts: 1st shift, Monday- Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM; 2nd shift, Monday-Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM; and Thurs, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (with 30 min. lunches). The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 100 Zephyr Avenue, Montrose, MN 55363. They will service clients within the Minneapolis-St-Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI area, specifically in the county of Wright. The Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The pay period is weekly. The employer provides housing to the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $85.00. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. The offered housing is optional for workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers will be reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The transportation payment or reimbursement amount will equal the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not including passport expenses or other charges primarily for the worker's benefit). At no charge, the employer will provide the worker all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on-the-job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
