Truck Builder / Installer

Aerotek is currently seeking for a full-time (direct-hire0 skilled truck fabricators to build commercial trucks for the service and commercial industries. We are currently seeking for a Heavy Equipment Installer technician for a commercial truck rental company that sells, services and rents commercial trucks such as sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and related equipment. The Heavy Truck Equipment Installer, will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various truck bodies and equipment, such as dump bodies, flatbeds, water tanks, plows, chippers, and custom-built machines. Will also perform tasks such as 12v electrical installation, some basic welding, fabrication and troubleshooting tasks. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems and basic welding skills Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment. Must have own tools such as wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and grinders. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Attention to detail, quality, and safety. Salary: $25- $35/hour DOE. This is an hourly paid job. Direct hire, this is not a contract job.
