The Electrical Engineer will serve as Professional of Record on projects, prepare power system studies, and provide technical leadership for equipment specification, construction packages, and interdisciplinary coordination. What we can offer Meaningful and interesting projects delivered to industry leaders across the power and energy sector Flexible working arrangements that balance client, team, and individual needs, with remote work options available Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion across our business with employee networks dedicated to giving all employees a voice Competitive salary with regular salary reviews ensuring alignment with market standards Flexible benefits package that can be adapted to suit your lifestyle Commitment to continued professional development through tailored career plans Global connections with leading industry experts shaping the future of power transmission and distribution RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out duties and responsibilities as assigned by the lead electrical engineer Lead discipline scope on small projects and electrical packages on large projects Act as the electrical Professional of Record on assigned projects Act as a discipline focal point as required Coordinate design with other engineering disciplines Review, check and approve work output of discipline assigned personnel as required Develop design deliverables including single lines, layouts, schematics, grounding, cable routing, and equipment specifications Specify and evaluate major electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, and motors Create construction packages, IFC drawings, material lists and estimates Identify scope and schedule changes and assist with change management Conduct checking and independent review of discipline work Provide mentorship to junior team members Support construction and commissioning activities as needed QUALIFICATIONS Expected: Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized university Minimum 6 years of experience in Utility or EPCM environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to self-manage and work in team settings Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10 days per year Desirable: Familiarity with electrical engineering database tools such as SmartPlant Electrical or Aveva Electrical Substation design experience will be preferred.
