Professional Painter Needed - Staircase Spindles & Railing Refinishing in VACAVILLE. This job should take at least 2 to 2.5 days to do correctly (Average $40 per hour assuming job takes 2.5 days). If you think you will finish in one day please do NOT respond. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented painter for a staircase refinishing project. SCOPE OF WORK: THIN STAIRCASE SPINDLES: will be removed during our renovation to make painting easier. These will need to be: Sanded Primed Painted white (2 coats) LARGER SPINDLES AND HANDRAILS (which remain in place) need to be: Sanded Stained to match the current wood flooring "Estimated" Time Breakdown: Day 1: Sanding of large spindles and handrails Stain applied Begin sanding and priming thin spindles (off-site or in a prepped area) Day 2: First coat of white paint on thin spindles Day 3: Second coat of white paint on thin spindles Final touch-ups, sealing, and cleanup Total Estimated Time: 2.5 to 3 days REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience with wood finishing and detail paint work Must provide own tools.
