Structural Engineer

We are not able to consider c2c for this position. This role is an 18 month contract role with our direct client. Prefer 4 years of experience or more (negotiable) B.S. & M.S. in Structural Engineering recommended o Experience in Structural Design Engineering required for industrial plants Provided designs for piping, motors, structures, transformers, heavy equipment, etc. Facilitated structural issues such as equipment vibration, piping vibrations, etc. Desire previous experience with Extended or Stretch Type Power Uprates (EPU or SPU), Turbine Replacements (Turbine Retrofits), Nuclear Main Generator Replacements, Steam Generator Replacements Previous experience with power plant systems analysis (containment validations, reactor embrittlement, license extensions, vibration analysis & mitigation, etc.) Job Description: Authoring/developing design change packages in accordance with IP-ENG-001 industry design process Provide design engineering support for nuclear power plant refueling outages
