Night Shift Hours: 4:30pm - 3:00am Monday through Friday (Fridays as needed for mandatory overtime depending on production needs) Position Summary Responsible for maintenance and repair on equipment. Responsible for electrical systems, electronic controls, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, and repairs. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, to include electronic controls, motors, PLC, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. 2. Complete Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on applicable machines. 3. Responsible for maintaining an inventory of service and repair parts. 4. Maintains accurate and computerized records of services, repairs, and modifications on equipment. 5. Design and install modifications or retrofits to enhance safety and efficiency of plant equipment, as needed. 6. Able to operate various types of welding tools, hand tools, and power tools. 7. Able to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and schematics. 8. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management. 9. Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives. 10. Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements/Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred. 3+ years of experience in a related field Minimum of two years of experience in troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of equipment. Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics. Good hearing and ability to see well (use of corrective hearing aids or lenses allowed) Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.) Basic math skills Reading skills (Basic instructional and technical information) OR An acceptable combination of education and experience Functional & Cognitive Requirements of Position This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree. Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs. Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending. Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities. Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed. This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions. Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
