Experienced Millwright

Location: Tacoma, Wa Position: Temp to Hire Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm Mon - Fri We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a broad set of mechanical and technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. This position requires flexibility and the ability to prioritize and shift focus as production needs change throughout the day. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot issues in real time to minimize downtime. Conduct routine preventative maintenance: greasing bearings, checking and filling hydraulic oil, lubricating machinery, fabricating belts, etc. Support operations involving millwright work, plumbing, steam systems, welding, and light fabrication. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Assist with various facility maintenance tasks as needed. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and jump between tasks as required. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in paper converting or panel production. Proficiency in: Welding and light fabrication Electrical systems (low and high voltage) Plumbing and piping Hydraulics and pneumatics Millwright experience Forklift operation (certification a plus) Boiler operator license is a plus - if not held, we'll sponsor training through a boiler school in Renton.
