Candidates should have2+ years of relevant experience.Summary:This position involves designing layouts, fabricating, installing, and repairing mechanical components for industrial autoclaves, ovens, and related equipment. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong leadership, independence, and advanced expertise in MIG welding and fabrication.Duties:- Interpret drawings and work instructions to construct mechanical components for autoclaves, ovens, and sub-components such as frames, tanks, heaters, cooling coils, valve trains, floors, silencers, and platforms.- Promote ASCs safety culture by working safely and preventing injuries; complete safety forms and participate in safety meetings.- Plan and gather materials for fabrication to ensure efficient assembly builds.- Assembly of small, medium, and large autoclaves and ovens.- Independently fabricate autoclaves with diameters ranging from 1 ft. to 5 ft.- Supervise large-scale autoclave and oven builds and installations in the field.- Measure, cut, plasma cut, saw, grind, install, and weld various materials, including insulation, plumbing components, steel plate, steel pipe, sheet metal, angle, PVC pipe, and fittings.- Clean, paint, wrap, move, and load finished products in preparation for shipping.- Operate industrial machinery and tools, including various saws, drills, grinders, jigsaws, and drill presses.- Travel locally, out of state, and on rare occasions internationally to customer sites for fabrication, installation, and repair work.- Uphold ASCs Team Values by working safely, maintaining a positive attitude, leading by example, demonstrating a willingness to learn, collaborating as a team player, working efficiently, and focusing on delivering quality results.- Perform any other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:- Must have 2 years plus of experience as a MIG Welder possess fabrication experience.- Proficient in welding techniques and capable of passing a 3G welding test.- Strong mechanical aptitude is essential.- Must be available to travel locally, out-of-state, and occasionally internationally.- Thorough understanding of technical drawings and written instructions.- Excellent communication skills are required.- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.ASC Process Systems is a leading manufacturer of autoclaves and ovens for the aerospace, composites, and glass industries.
