What Youll Get to Do**
The Fabrication Operator is focused on assembling the parts for doors, frames, and windowsand reports to the Plant Manager**.**
This role is perfect for an individual who approaches their work professionally, loves to be a part of a team, and wants to help us get better every day. A vital member of the Custom Door Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- On/off-loading of the product from tables and rolling racks.
- Using pneumatic screw guns and drills to assemble the parts for doors, frames, and windows.
- The "team concept" instituted for plant facility production workers requires each worker to perform different functions on a a rotating basis.
**What We Are Looking For**
- Construction type experience.
- Ability to ready, understand, and communicate paperwork.
- Attach appropriate paperwork and/or tags to products and packages.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
- Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), and standing.
