Job Description: Superintendent/Forman
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent/Forman to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in all aspects of excavation, including:
Oversee and manage all aspects of excavation projects, including underground utilities, grading, and road construction
Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
Supervise and lead a 3-5 person crew, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in every phase of excavation and construction
Ensure proper equipment use, safety protocols, and adnce to project timelines
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers to ensure project success
Ensure that all work complies with local regulations and safety standards
Monitor progress and provide daily reports to upper management
Address any on-site issues or challenges promptly to maintain project flow
Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to crew members to promote teamwork and job quality.
