ExternalDescriptionStr : Honeywell is currently hiring a Turbomachinery Project Engineer II to join their team in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will impact the performance and reliability of our turbomachinery productsYou will report directly to the Engineering Program Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES includes: Overseeing the design, development and qualification of turbomachinery components including Gas Foil Bearings, Liquid Cooling Systems, Turbine Power Systems, Compressors and Fans which meet customer and internal requirements. Leading teams in establishing program plans with respect to cost and schedule. Identifying and resolving design problems of performance, strength, weight, material selection and finishes. Identifying and incorporating best practices for product design. Implementing development and qualification test objectives, writing test procedures, and overseeing the preparation of test units and the conduct of tests. Coordinating activities to reduce test data, prepares test reports. Production Technical supportThe annual base salary range for this position is $90,600.00 - $113,300.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
