Five years of experience in bulk cargo handling or in grain handling at a port or terminal facility; OR Five years of experience in the operation or maintenance of heavy mobile equipment, industrial machinery, construction or maintenance equipment, or transportation or materials handling equipment. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, supervising and assisting a crew of Bulk Terminal Specialists and helpers during the loading or unloading of commodities from rail cars, trucks, ships, barges or storage facilities at the bulk cargo-handling facilities of the Lake Charles Harbor & Terminal District (Port of Lake Charles).

Position requires manual physical labor such as standing, stooping, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting 30 pounds or more; work outdoors in all types of weather, and work around waterfront.

Position-Specific Details:
**Promotion to this position is limited to current permanent employees of the Lake Charles Harbor & Terminal District only.
