Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Design Specialist ( I&C Design Engineer ) :

- Create comprehensive electrical and instrumentation design packages for industrial projects.
- Create construction and maintenance packages based on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and project specifications
- Design comprehensive drawing packages including : Instrument location plans, Control room layouts, single-line electrical diagrams, cable sizing calculations for instrumentation and low voltage systems, cable tray layouts and sizing, 24VDC schematics for power / control / shutdown circuits, 120VAC power and control schematics, PLC panel layouts, junction box designs and control schematics
- Design communication systems incorporating : Ethernet networks, fiber optic cables, alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) interconnections, along with conduit and cable schedules
- Create PLC I/O drawings for various control systems including : Allen-Bradley ControlLogix / CompactLogix / Flex I/O and Emerson Delta V

Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :

- Experience in industrial electrical and/or instrumentation design, ideally related to instrumentation applications in natural gas and/or crude/processed oil, chemicals, and liquids processing
- Experience with CAD applications and engineering drawing management software including: AutoCAD, Plant3D, CADworx, Autodesk Vault, Adept, Bluebeam, etc.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E), ANSI, NEMA, and IEC standards
