POSITION OVERVIEW:
Position is responsible for leading business development and sales for Microwave Products Group (MPG) Products within an assigned territory within the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the Business Development lead for MPGs Products Value Stream across several different MPG brands/sites within an assigned United States territory
Collaborates with the entire BD & Sales organization in support of MPGs growth targets and go-to-market plans
Responsible for communicating MPG products salient characteristics, features, and benefits with customers, and consulting on appropriate solutions to customer problems
Responsible for regular visits to their assigned US territory for customer meetings, product demonstrations, etc.
Provides timely responses to customer requests for quotations and product/capabilities information
Provides technical, quotation, and advocacy support to customers
Acts as a liaison to MPG sites to resolve customer issues
Provides comprehensive MPG introductory capability presentations to prospective clients and partners and identifies adjacency opportunities for MPG
Generates sales forecasts for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and provides monthly updates
Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings forecasts within their assigned territory
Identifies market requirements for new or improved products and features, monitors and reports on competitive activity and market trends
Interfaces with and assists in the management of outside commissioned field sales representatives
Interfaces with engineering and program management personnel in preparation of technical and price proposals and in support of product development activities
Supports marketing with content generation for advertisements, brochures, news briefs, white papers, etc.
Tracks, obtains information for, and updates opportunity status information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
Supports trade shows and conferences
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance
Minimum of a bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university required
Minimum 5 years experience in the RF and microwave electronics industry required; aerospace & defense industry preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in Business Development/Sales required and proven experience with the acquisition of new contracts and customers
Military service in communications, radar, and/or electronic warfare (EW) areas is a strong plus
Ability to travel a minimum of 33% of the time, though travel will vary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
Strong RF and communications technical background
Ability to create and maintain excellent long-term customer relationships
Ability to generate profitable sales growth

Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 $125,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
