Job Summary

We a re seeking a Licensed Mechanical HVAC Technician with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join our maintenance team. This role is essential to ensuring the reliable and timely delivery of equipment and services in line with operational needs. The successful candidate will contribute to the performance, safety, and efficiency of critical mechanical systems while participating in a rotating on-call schedule.

Job Description

  • Perform maintenance and repair on assigned HVAC and mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with the established reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
  • Adhere strictly to maintenance protocols using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), accurately recording all work activities, labor hours, parts usage, and maintenance history.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work aligns with established standards and operational requirements.
  • Support and engage in initiatives that reduce non-productive time, increase asset utilization, and lower the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
  • Take part in continuous improvement efforts focused on improving equipment turnaround time, reducing system failures, and streamlining maintenance workflows.
  • Support and mentor junior technicians in maintenance best practices to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to planned repair and reuse initiatives to optimize material and resource use.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal competency management systems and required certifications.

S kills Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical HVAC Technician.
  • Valid HVAC License (as per state or local regulations).
  • Proven experience working with mechanical systems in industrial, manufacturing, or service environments.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule (1 week every 5 weeks, including weekends).
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Willingness to support a culture of continuous improvement.

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

  • $35 per hour and higher depending on experience

Additional Details

  • Experience working with CMMS and digital maintenance tracking systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with performance-based maintenance metrics and reporting is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills is preferred.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems lifecycle and reliability strategies is preferred.
