Welder I Located at Eastey Enterprises Big Lake, MN Signing Bonus We are offering two signing bonuses. With satisfactory work and attendance, you would be eligible to receive $500 after 30 days and $1,000 after 6 months. SUMMARY The Welder III is responsible for performing high-quality MIG, TIG, and laser welding on a variety of metal components. This role requires a deep understanding of welding processes, technical drawings, and precision fabrication methods. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex welding applications, including laser welding, and will ensure consistent product quality while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. This position works independently with minimal supervision and may assist others as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates the equipment in a safe manner.
- Produce strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent
- Follows required procedures and uses appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process.
- Maintains and produces a level of output that will minimize production delays.
- Cleans and maintains an orderly work area.
- Communicates effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow.
- Assist other individuals in area when needed.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and laser welding techniques across various metals and thicknesses.
- Ability to perform flat, vertical, and overhead welds with precision.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and weld symbols.
- Familiar with laser welding equipment, safety practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight tolerances.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments, including awkward positions.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
- 510 years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with laser welding technology is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet production deadlines.
- Familiarity with general shop tools and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in basic computer use and ability to complete production documentation.
