Carpenter's Assistant/General Laborer

Our family-owned, property restoration company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level Carpenters Assistant/General Laborer to join our team. No experience necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate. Full time available with an immediate start date.

Job Duties:
Clean up worksites
Assist carpenters or painters, or other tradespeople on-site
Acquire, handle and transport materials/supplies and equipment
Load or unload construction materials
Assist with demolitions & mitigations
Use power tools when needed
Follow instructions from Leads to perform manual labor tasks
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Experience & Skills
High school diploma, GED and/or Drivers License is an asset, but not required
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 60 pounds etc.)
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
CDL Strongly preferred
Mitigation experience is a plus
Good hand-eye coordination
Familiarity with power tools is a plus
Communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety rules
