- Develop technical drawings and designs for custom millwork and cabinetry using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into manufacturable products.
- Optimize material usage and production efficiency through thoughtful engineering.
- Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and recommend improvements.
- Input pre-existing designs into Inventor and determine the necessary materials and measurements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor, CAD, and Solidworks.
- Experience in woodworking, architectural drawing, millwork, and cabinetry.
- 1+ years of experience with Autodesk Inventor software or Solidworks.
- 3-5 years of experience in the millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking industries.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials such as wood, laminates, and millwork materials.
- Experience with Microvellum and other relevant software is a plus.
- No degree required.
The work environment features a very clean manufacturing floor and an office space that resembles a showroom with custom wood paneling, tables, and industrial fixtures. The office overlooks the production floor through floor-to-ceiling windows. The role requires working onsite five days a week, with some flexibility for appointments. The environment supports a culture of innovation in a newly constructed office space adjacent to the manufacturing floor.
