Job Title: Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee two significant projects involving multiple AGS/Amazon data center buildings and electrical gear upgrades. The first project is a six-month commitment focusing on heavy electrical, fire protection, and other subcontractors, starting in August 2025 and concluding in February 2026. The second project involves electrical gear upgrades scheduled to begin in late July 2025 and end by February/March 2026.
Responsibilities
- Manage authorization and daily scope of work.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor management.
- Assist in creating the final schedule with subcontractors and suppliers along with internal scheduling of staff.
- Provide input on schedule of values and update project completion percentages for billing.
- Ensure maximum efficiency in site logistics without interrupting client operations.
- Collaborate with safety director to maintain strict compliance with safety plans.
- Communicate effectively to maintain project schedule in case of disruptions.
- Work with clients to resolve union or non-union labor disputes.
- Implement and maintain the organization's quality control plan for the project.
- Address quality concerns with construction and regional managers to develop action plans.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in data center construction or industrial projects.
- Experience with projects involving heavy electrical and fire protection scopes of work.
- Proficiency in Procore software.
- Experience with scheduling and vendor/subcontractor management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in construction management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Work Environment
The role involves frequent travel between multiple building sites, with mileage reimbursement for mobilization and demobilization. You will work alongside another superintendent to ensure smooth project execution. The position requires adherence to company safety and quality control plans and involves interaction with union and non-union labor forces.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
