Residential Electrician Helper

IES Residential is currently seeking Residential Electrical Helpers in the Corpus Christi area.

Duties & Responsibilities may include:

• Assist in completion to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
• Install trim to include plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches
• Carry materials and tools
• Clean work area and equipment
• Maintains working relationship with leadman and division manager
• Reports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutions
• Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures
• Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazar d to the responsible person
• Communicate with others, including taking direction from leadman

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn the electrical trade.

• Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Basic understanding electrical systems and construction safety principles

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physically able to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds.

• Willing to travel to various job sites throughout the Corpus Christi area as needed.
