Project Manager/Estimator

We are searching for a Project Manager/Estimator in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area to work at a leading civil and construction firm. Experience with project management, engineering or estimating for construction projects is ideal but will consider a wide range of experience. Degreed engineering or construction management candidates encouraged to apply.

This is a contract to hire role with a growing company.

salary: $35 - 36 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

• Preparation of engineering and environmental reports and construction dewatering analyses for variety of projects including subsurface foundations and basements, pump stations, remediation sites, everglades restoration, water and sewer treatment facilities among others
  
  
• Review and evaluate AutoCAD drawings using supplied company templates and conventions
  
  
• Communicate with contractors and developers to develop the means and methods of various projects
  
  
• Identify concerns and relay information in a technical and professional manner
  
  
• Ability to learn and adapt to an evolving engineering environment
