Purpose\:
Responsible for independently applying advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within a project environment.
This onsite position is based in Toledo, Ohio anticipated for 1 year with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities\:
- Perform all aspects of planning/scheduling.
- Monitor job progress according to schedules and productivity against control budgets.
- Coordinate with material expediters concerning critical items of supply.
- Participation in expenditure forecasts.
- Perform schedule and cost control analysis.
- Set up, maintain, and update cost and financial systems for assigned projects.
- Work closely with project managers and project teams to ensure timelines are met and accurate dates are maintained. What you will bring
- Strong Primavera P6 experience and proficiency required.
- Microsoft suite of software with emphasis on Excel.
- Experience in project planning and scheduling in a refinery or plant environment.
- Sound understanding of project delivery phases, activities performed in each phase, and deliverables at the end of each phase.
- Capable of setting up project schedule in accordance with good project management practices based on critical path methodology.
- Capable of managing impact of change & trends and resulting re-schedules / re-baselines.
- Capable of developing and managing progress through activities and deliverables.
- Ability to work well as an integral part of a large project team that includes the customer, engineering disciplines, and 3rd party contractors.
- Effective skills in project controls and analytical problem-solving.
- Strong work ethic, produces accurate and credible deliverables, meets deadlines.
