Learning Carpenter

Local Contractor with a small All-Star Crew is looking for a Learning Carpenter. This is an opportunity to learn tricks of the trade, while improving carpentry skills and knowledge.

A lot of the work is on the Westside - Beaverton to North Plains, although we have a strong clientele in NE Portland. The company seems to attract unique, creative work and great clientele.

The Learning Carpenter would join the crew on remodels, additions and new construction. Tasks include demolition, staging materials, keeping the job site clean and safe, and giving a helping hand to carpenters. We do a bunch of kitchen and bath remodels, flooring, tile, etc. All phases of construction.

The ideal candidate should have:

Drivers license and your own transportation (bonus if you have a truck)

Commitment to the team effort and a drive to see a days work through to completion

General construction knowledge with a strong desire to learn and take direction

Positive attitude, good sense of humor, and strong work ethic

Ability to work independently at times

A love for tools and how theyre used safely
