Job Title: Project Manager/Estimator

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas. Proficiency in OST/QuickBid software is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Estimate project costs and prepare bids for commercial drywall projects, including drywall installation, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and gypsum walls.

· Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimates.

· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

· Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

· Oversee project execution, including coordinating subcontractors, managing project timelines, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.

· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

· Prepare and present project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, budgetary performance, and changes to project scope.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry, with expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas.

· Proficiency in OST/QuickBid software for estimating and project management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately estimate project costs and identify potential risks.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.

· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

· Proven track record of successfully managing commercial drywall projects from estimation through completion.

Education:

A degree in construction management, engineering, or a relevant tenured employment experience is preferred.
