Job Summary
The Construction Design Project Manager develops the scope of assigned projects and guides the stakeholders through the pre-concept Scope of Work (SOW), through the complete design phase. The Project Manager develops the preliminary program budgeting, creates and develops the project timeline and Coordinates with all stakeholders and General Contractor (GC) for Construction execution of the approved project.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Prepares for Pre-bid and Pre-Construction meetings.
- Conducts weekly Construction meetings.
- Coordinates with user for their supplied equipment, furnishings and relocations.
- During design period: 1. Provides day to day interface for management and customers to the construction and design team. Serves as primary Point of Contact. 2. Coordinates user design meetings; follow up amendments, new scope of work. 3. Coordinates equipment during design and transition period. In conjunction with user and design team, coordinates product design and budget issues. Coordinates interior design finishes. 4. Manages the design contracts, scope of work and amendments.
- During active construction: 1. Construction Administration & Safety. 2. Manages the Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) and Interim Life Safety Measure (ILSM) risk assessments to include documentation. Initiates Change Proposal Requests (CPR) when a mandatory change is required. 3. Construction Budget Management. Maintains construction program budget data. 4. Construction Close out period: Coordinates all close out documentation; validates and documents all State, City and JCAHO documents. Validates the Redline drawings. 5. Phasing: Coordinates for on-site construction and operational concerns of the user.
- Transition planning: coordinates equipment and staff, relocation effort, budget planning, procurement planning, and vendors. Creates transition timeline planning and phasing with customers
- All other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered to satisfy the bachelor's degree requirement.
Preferred:
Experience - 1+ years of Building Maintenance Experience; 3+ years of Electrical/Mechanical/HVA Experience; 5+ years of Facilities Management/Construction Experience
