Millwright II - 3rd Shift

Overview

Millwright II is responsible for fabricating, designing, constructing, and rebuilding machinery and equipment for implementing and improving the manufacturing process. and prevention and/or minimizing work downtime.

Accountabilities

• Utilizes fabrication skills by designing, planning, and constructing projects.
• Work with drawings and blueprints.
• Work with torches and ability to use mig and tig welding ARC and Fabrications applications.
• Performs minor electrical repairs.
• Performs mechanical/industrial rigging.
• Performs mechanical repairs on production equipment.
• Performs troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Machine fabrication.
• May occasionally write procedures on new jobs or rebuilds for filing in permanent record.
• Dismantle, relocate, and reinstall machinery.
• This person will interact with engineering, operations support, and product development.
• Be able to train Millwright I.
• Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Certification in a skilled trade.
• Must have an existing chauffeur's license.
• Ability to work with drawings/blueprints.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and all parts of machine repair.
• Three years' experience in machine repair and a proven record of accomplishment.
• Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Proven attention to accuracy and detail.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stay.
• Ability to climb and work at elevated heights.
• Lift up to 75 lbs of steel.
• Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations. #IND123
