Description:
The Heavy Equipment Operator operates light and heavy-duty ground motorized equipment such as Front-End Loaders, Telehandler Forklift and or other related mobile equipment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
- 60 hours per week

Essential Job Functions:
- Load and unload tractor trailers
- Identify, stage and organize construction site materials
- Competently operate front end loader using forks, bucket and stinger
- Competently operate telehandler forklift to support industrial oilfield construction activities to include snow removal
- Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- Two (2) years industrial heavy equipment operating experience preferred
- Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record required

- Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Examination.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of Heavy Civil Construction and characteristics of all equipment functions and operations.
- Knowledge of proper equipment use conducive to conditions and assignment.
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to equipment use and operation.
- Skills in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely.
- Skills in daily maintenance of machines including repairs and inspecting equipment to identify possible problems.
- Ability to use time and equipment efficiently to complete projects on time.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle stress and possess positive trait even in difficult or challenging situations.
- Ability to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.
