Commercial Construction Superintendents

KHS&S Contractors, one of the nation's top wall and ceiling contractors, is seeking experienced individuals to oversee field operations for interior/exterior components of large commercial construction projects in Orlando, FL. Notable KHS&S projects include the Tampa International Airport expansion, Marlin's Park in Miami, and numerous Disney and Universal Studios projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise projects to completion within predetermined schedule and budget
• Provide leadership and training to subordinates
• Enforce safety standards at all times
• Properly schedule staff, training and equipment needs
• Read plans, comprehend and execute for completion of projects
• Daily inspection of construction sites to ensure quality work and compliance

Requirements:

• Construction Management degree preferred
• Minimum of five years experience as a construction superintendent in the specialty trades
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of safety requirements and procedures
• Proven track record of working well with general contractors, subcontractors and field employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Must be able to work indoors or outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather and loud environments
