Position Summary
Responsibilities include: assisting with the development and administration of both two-party and three-party consultant contracts from solicitation through contract execution as well as amendment review and submittal; being a resource for Masterworks and the Contract Administration and Reporting System (CARS); monitoring contract progress to ensure compliance; assisting with the development and management of the annual region local program consultant budget; updating FIIPS for the region improvement program; maintaining contract files and records management; and developing and tracking historical data for use in future contract negotiation and region performance measurements.
This position is responsible for ensuring that contract activity is properly documented, controlled and executed so that audit trails are maintained. Significant knowledge is required specific to the consultant selection process, three-party contracting, Facilities Development Manual, and the rules governing consultant-engineering contracts. This position functions with a high degree of independence and must utilize a strong degree of initiative to manage multiple priorities to meet the Region's needs in the delivery of its local program.
Salary Information
This position is in schedule-range (07-03) with an annual salary of $60,320 - $79,040, plus excellent benefits. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

This position offers a hybridized work schedule. The position will be headquartered at a DTSD Office Building at least 2 days per week. All employees working a hybrid work schedule are still expected to telework from within the State of Wisconsin. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have experience with all the following:
- Reviewing or managing contracts or invoices (i.e. reviewing contracts/invoices, applying contract provisions, ensuring conformance to contract/invoice requirements, etc.)
- Performing financial related duties or analyzing financial data (i.e. purchasing, accounting, finance, financial data collection, creating financial reports, accounts reconciliation, accounts payable, budgeting, etc.)
- Applying state and federal laws and administrative policies to programs.
- Providing customer service by interpreting technical documents for stakeholders.
