Valid State Driver License and experience in vertical/building constructionor rehabilitation.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS ExcelDuties:
Construction project inspection for several vertical construction andrehabilitation projects planned at Mesa Verde National Park in 2025.
Inspects construction projects for adherence with contract documents andindustry standards. Completes daily reports and photographs constructionprogress. 85%Review submittals, requests for information, and construction documents(drawings, specifications, and reports) for constructability and providerecommendations to Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR). 15%
Other:NPS systems and processesHealth and Safety Considerations: Typical health and safety considerationsassociated with construction work sites are expected and lead-based paint hasbeen identified in both buildings/work sites. Additional on-site training, ifnecessary, associated with the removal of lead-based paint will be providedcontingent on the construction contractors? demolition plans.Required Safety Gear: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while inspectingthe construction sites including eye protection, hearing protection, hard hat,gloves, and a safety vest. The Enrollee is responsible for providing their ownappropriate clothing, outerwear, and footwear.Physical requirements: Ability to work at elevation (7,000+ ft) and navigateconstruction sites.
