- Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform visual inspections and ensure quality control by addressing non-conforming components.
- Create and interpret blueprints for electrical systems.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of electrical system requirements into optimized methods for assembly, testing, and maintenance.
- Support the development of automated test fixtures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Expertise in electrical engineering and electrical design.
- Proficiency in research and development, quality inspection, and quality control.
- Ability to read and create blueprints.
- Experience with electrical engineering tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 7 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
- Extensive experience working in multi-disciplinary product development teams.
- Experience in architecting platform electrical and power systems.
- Experience in designing, simulating, prototyping, testing, production, and maintenance of production-mature circuit card assemblies.
- Familiarity with systems that include hardware and software components developed for DoD, academic, or commercial use.
