Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Superintendent, overseeing local federal projects ranging from $1M to $10M. This role requires a long-term commitment with at least five years of experience as a superintendent. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and management to ensure the efficient allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment. Act as the direct liaison with Government Contracting Officials and oversee the daily activities of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and management in determining manpower, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Act as a direct liaison with Government Contracting Officials.
  • Direct daily activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements.
  • Maximize production and eliminate disruptions and downtime.
  • Ensure construction schedule and budget adherence.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent.
  • Experience on Department of Defense (DOD) projects, including new construction, ground-up projects, and renovations.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • First aid and CPR certifications.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication and delegation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with design-build construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • A GED or high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
Work Environment

The position involves on-site work from 7am to 3:30pm with potential overtime. A company vehicle or vehicle allowance with a gas card is provided. The majority of the work will be outside, with some time spent in a remote or main office. Normal site working attire is required, including a hard hat on-site. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
