Commercial Painter** **Job Description** As a Hospital Painter, you will perform commercial painting services for hospitals and healthcare facilities. Your work will involve applying new coatings to improve the appearance of buildings, enhancing surface durability, and ensuring safety by providing easy-to-clean surfaces that withstand disinfectant. **Responsibilities** + Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks and holes in walls and other surfaces. + Apply paints, varnishes, and sealants using brushes or rollers. + Protect exposed objects and surfaces by covering them with tarps and masking tape. + Repair and prep drywall, hang drywall, and apply powder coat using sprayers and rollers. + Work on painting rooms per floor and corridors within the facility. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in painting, paint preparation, sanding, and cleaning. + Experience with construction techniques and spray gun usage. + Ability to prepare surfaces for painting, including sheet rock and caulk application. + Expertise in industrial painting and spray painting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + At least 2-3 years of experience in commercial painting. + Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. + Customer service orientation. **Why Work Here** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing stability and growth potential.
