Pipefitter Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Pipefitter, where you will be involved in pipefitting on new construction and upfit projects across the Southeast. You will work with stainless steel and carbon pipes, ensuring precise fittings from start to finish without the need for revisions. Responsibilities Perform pipefitting tasks on new construction and upfit projects. Screw and weld pipes with precision. Ensure accurate fittings from point A to point B without the need for rework. Handle both stainless steel and carbon pipes. Essential Skills Expertise in pipe fitting and welding. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Experience in construction and industrial settings. Skill in threading, pipe installation, and fitting. Knowledge of carbon steel, welding, fabrication, and piping systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with TIG welding. Understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems. Capability as a pipe fabricator and in commercial construction. Work Environment This role requires travel, with most jobs involving being away during the week and returning home for the weekends. Work spans across the Southeast, including Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The company provides a per diem of $30 per day and covers hotel accommodations, ensuring you have a comfortable stay without sharing facilities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yadkinville, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
