We are committed to maintaining a fleet of vehicles and equipment that supports our diverse operations. **Position Overview:**We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet and equipment, including rigging equipment, pickup trucks (gas and diesel), forklifts, shop equipment, and other specialized tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking maintenance schedules, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of all machinery. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Maintenance Tracking:** Develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all company vehicles, rigging equipment, and other tools to prevent downtime and extend operational life.- **Equipment Repair:** Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; perform timely repairs to ensure equipment is safe and operational.- **Fleet & Rigging Equipment Management:** Monitor the condition of rigging equipment, trucks, forklifts, and other vehicles; coordinate regular servicing and address any mechanical or safety concerns promptly.- **Inventory Management:** Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repair.- **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all rigging equipment, vehicles, and machinery meet safety standards and regulations; conduct regular inspections and address any safety concerns immediately.- **Record Keeping:** Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately; maintain logs for each piece of equipment.- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations; provide technical support and training as needed. **Qualifications:**- **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on industrial equipment, rigging equipment, and fleet vehicles.- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including rigging equipment.- **Certifications:** Relevant certifications in automotive, rigging, or equipment repair are preferred.- **Physical Ability:** Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various positions, and operate machinery safely.- **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with team members.**Benefits:**- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.- Health, dental, and vision insurance.- Retirement savings plan.- Paid time off and holidays.- Opportunities for professional development and advancement**To Apply:** Please email your resume to ... with "Equipment Mechanic" in the subject line.
