If you want to learn carpentry this could be great. If you have experience even better. But I need a couple things: Truck or van Place we an do small projects on the WestSide. So I generally do a lot of little cabinetry jobs. We absolutely do not need a full shop but we need about at least a parking space size worth of area to do little projects and then immediately clean up. We used the backyard of my last two assistants and I'm sorry this is a requirement. You also need to have a truck or van of some type to transport materials. This also has to be on the west side where I can access from the culver city area with an electric bike. No Hollywood, valley Long beach. The plusses are it's a lot of fun. I don't do heavy dirty carpentry.Mostly furniture and cabinets and it's really cool. Right now I have steady work about 30 hours a week but that can change so I'm going to be up front. It's not always full time. But I pay weekly and reliably. I'm also a good teacher and I'm pretty patient.And we joke around a lot at work. If you have tools that's great, but you don't even have to have anything more than a pencil reallyI have everything. If there's minuses, one is you have to help us provide a work space.I can't do it at my apartment. Any small yard or garage is fine. A lot of the work is off-site, so we wouldn't even be using it.And you need a reliable vehicle that can transport stuff from home depot Or anderson plywood.
