WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Serious inquiries only. Looking for someone to qualify interview and start immediately.

Objective The primary duties of a Senior heavy equipment/truck mechanic include diagnostic testing on diesel/gas vehicles and to diagnose and repair/replace engines, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system. Must have the ability to perform basic, intermediate and advanced vehicle maintenance and repairs

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with weekends and travel expected.

Qualifications

Engine tune-up Test hydraulics, valves and motors Replace engines, steering, transmissions and braking systems Use diagnostic tools Complete troubleshooting and repairs needed Oil, tires and filters changesWork on mechanical and electrical system and replace partsMaintenance, inspections and service on trucks.Test Drive TrucksPerform quality inspections prior to returning vehicles to the crewExperience as an automotive/dieselKnowledge of shop equipmentStrong communication skillsMust be able to travel as neededWork may be required on weekendsMust be 21 years of ageCDL A is a plus but not a requirement

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Required Education and Experience

Have a minimum of 3 years' experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel equipment/trucks ASE Diesel Certification advantageousDegree or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering Excellent mechanical aptitude

Eligibility Requirements

10-year criminal background search.

Clean driving history
