Mig Welder** **Job Description** This is a MIG welding position focused on working with carbon steel to create various structures including bridge railings, architecturally exposed structural steel, steel tensile membrane structures, bridge joints, structural steel, traffic barriers, and storm water solutions. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on carbon steel. + Create structural elements such as bridge railings and traffic barriers. + Interpret and work from welding symbols and blueprints. + Engage in fabrication and assembly tasks. + Work with mild steel and stainless steel using MIG and TIG welding techniques. + Grind and produce components as per specifications. + Utilize tape measures, schematics, and flux core welding techniques. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding and fitting. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. + Experience in structural welding and fabrication. + Competence in working with carbon steel and mild steel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Aluminum welding skills are an advantage. + Fitting skills are highly desirable, with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and drawings. + Understanding of building components such as stairs and cage ladders. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy attendance bonuses on a quarterly basis and receive weekly pay.
