Machine Operator

Machine Operator We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate mechanical presses to attach rubber tubing to metal pipes of various sizes (2" to 12" in diameter). You'll work with small, medium, and large presses, and may use an overhead crane or forklift for handling larger components. This is a hands-on, entry-level position with training provided and opportunities for long-term growth. Responsibilities Operate mechanical presses to assemble rubber tubing onto metal pipes. Start press cycles using a button while safely positioning the part. Use overhead cranes or forklifts (as needed) to assist with large press operations. Perform manual lifting of parts up to 50 lbs, using assistance or equipment when necessary. Package completed parts by bagging and boxing them for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Essential Skills Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work. Ability to lift up to50 lbssafely and consistently. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with blueprint reading and basic shop math. Forklift experience is a plus (training available). Work Environment Work in a clean machine shop environment with two buildings located in Anoka and one in Blaine. The company values employee well-being and fosters a close-knit community. The first shift operates from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, while the second shift runs from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with one unpaid 30-minute break and two 15-minute paid breaks. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
