This key role within the organization is responsible for preparing precise cost estimates, developing competitive bid proposals, and securing sales for fire sprinkler installation projects. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for sprinkler projects to support the sales and business development teams. Review project specifications, blueprints, and project related documents to determine project scope and requirements. Conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions and gather necessary information. Develop proposals and bid packages for customers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines. Collaborate with sales executives, project managers, engineers, and other team members to optimize project costs and strategies. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors and owners. Stay up to date on industry regulations, codes, and advancements in fire protection technology. Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Assist in the transition of awarded projects to the project management team. Track and report on bid statuses, sales performance, and market trends. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in estimating, sales, design, or project management in the fire protection or construction industry. Knowledge of fire sprinkler system designs, installation, and applicable codes (NFPA, local building regulations) preferred. Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed. High school diploma or equivalent.
