Job Title: Industrial Plant Electrician Classification: Hourly Shift: Nights Reports To: Lead Maintenance Technician Location: Reno, NV **THIS POSITION IT LOCATED IN RENO, NV** Summary of Job Reporting to the Lead Maintenance Technician, the Electricianmaintains new and existing electrical and electronic equipmentwithin the plant to ensure that equipment and wiring are to codeand optimal levels of quality and safety are met. Industrial Plant Electrician Essential Functions andResponsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical /electronic problems onPregis packaging lines, basic computer networks andaccessories/peripheral systems including hardware andsoftware. Maintain excellent customer satisfaction by troubleshooting,repair and if necessary, escalation of ongoing technical issues ina timely manner. Excellent customer relationship skills, utilizing electronictesting equipment, wiring diagrams and applications / toolsavailable on the company's laptop including (Indra works, Siemens,Allen Bradly, and Exor). Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electricalwiring according to the National Electrical Code and companyelectrical standards. Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems forProject facilities and equipment. Escalate verbally and via email difficult to solve problems tothe technical support group in a timely manner. When necessary,work with the installation team to install and commission newequipment. Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes,standards, safety and environment regulations. Responsible for station lockout/tagout procedures as mandatedby company policy. Product knowledge and the ability to communicate clearlyverbally and written (internal and external). Help to maintain parts inventories and order parts in emergencysituation when required. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner, including timesheets, escalation reports, service reports, online trainingcourses as needed. Regular attendance and timeliness are expected. There will betimes that overtime, or weekend work will be critical functions ofthe job.
