Paint Prep: $19 to $22 per hour : Minneapolis, MN Job Description Join an industrial paint line where you will perform paint preparation duties including masking and taping. You will stage parts for painting by hanging them on racks, manage painted parts, and conduct inspections and touchup painting when necessary. You will also use a computer to process work orders and manage inventory, with the opportunity to be trained in powder coat painting within the paint booth. Responsibilities Perform masking and taping for paint preparation. Stage parts by hanging them on racks and managing their placement on the paint line. Unhang painted parts and inspect them for quality, conducting touchup painting if needed. Utilize a computer to process work orders and log inventory. Undergo training in powder coat painting within the paint booth. Essential Skills Experience in painting, taping, sanding, and priming. Ability to perform loading, unloading, and racking duties. Proficiency in using a production line and handling industrial painting processes. Knowledge of powder coat techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability in staging, masking, painting, and loading operations. Competence in computer usage for inventory management. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.00/hr.
