AC & Refrigeration Technician - FL

You will also be providing essential maintenance support for fast-food restaurants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, reach-ins, and air conditioning units. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and execute high-quality, efficient repairs. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and life span. Maintain detailed service records, including diagnostics, parts used, and follow-up recommendations. Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and building code standards. Coordinate with other technicians and facility staff to minimize operational disruptions. Stay up to date with evolving technologies, tools, and industry best practices. Provide fast food restaurant maintenance support. Commute between locations as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Able to manage multiple service calls independently and efficiently. Availability for after-hours, weekend work, and on-call rotation. Ability to commute between locations. Fluent in English and able to converse in English Familiarity with local codes and commercial building standards. (Preferred) Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. Technical degree or trade school certification in HVAC. (Preferred) Experience working with energy management systems or programmable controls.(Preferred) 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. EPA Section 608 Certification and valid HVAC license required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
